Matthew Waite LLB (Hons)
Founder Director

Matthew graduated from Birmingham University in 1982 and after completing his Professional Finals at the College of Law, Chancery Lane, London, he was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986.
 
Matthew practices in the field of Commercial Conveyancing, with special expertise in commercial property transactions for pension funds, dealing with all aspects of commercial property acquisition, disposal, finance, leasing and asset management.

 

He also has experience in family law, wills, probate and residential conveyancing. 
 

Matthew has a reputation for providing clients with the highest standards of expertise and client care, in a straightforward and pre-emptive manner. He is calm, knowledgeable and persuasive. He acts for a wide range of clients, both private and corporate, large and small. His philosophy drives the firm in its pursuit of excellence, giving clients access to the best legal advice and representation.

Harry Alexander LLB (Hons)
Director

Krishan (otherwise known as Harry), graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and after completing the LPC at Nottingham Law School, Harry was admitted as a Solicitor in 2010, when he joined the firm. He specialises in property matters, both residential and commercial, offering expert advice in a friendly, proactive and efficient way.

 

Harry is Head of our Property Department, and proud of our membership of The Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme, proof that we follow best practice, meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service and are able to satisfy regulators, lenders and insurers. Acting for private clients, he handles a variety of legal work including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, equity release, transfers of equity and lease extensions.

Harry also represents a wide range of commercial clients in a variety of matters including property sales and purchases, business sales, negotiation and grant of new leases, lease assignment and surrender.

Kathryn Mould LLB (Hons) 
Solicitor

Kathryn graduated from Middlesex University with a law degree and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester before qualifying as a solicitor in November 2002. She specialises in family law. Kathryn is a member of Resolution, offering expert advice to clients on a wide range of subjects ranging from divorce and disputes relating to children to pre-nuptial agreements and financial settlements for both high net worth clients and those with more modest means.

She offers empathy and understanding as well as legal expertise. As a member of Resolution, Kathryn’s philosophy is to promote a creative and constructive approach to family issues to achieve the best outcome for her clients. She has a conciliatory but firm approach with a keen focus on resolving disputes in the most cost effective manner.

 

Kathryn also practices in the field of Wills and Probate

Ella Jobbins AILEx
Legal Executive

Ella has over 9 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and gained a distinction in her CILEX Level 6 Certificate in Conveyancing.

 

Ella’s approach is to ensure that her clients receive expert advice and that they are kept fully informed at each stage of the transaction. 

 

She has a proven track record in delivering an efficient and responsive service to clients in a friendly and straightforward manner. Ella brings a wealth of experience to our Conveyancing Department in all aspects of residential conveyancing from freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, adverse possession claims and property developments, acting for both individuals and companies.

Cara Alexander
Practice Manager

Cara joined the firm in May 2023 having previously worked in the retail sector as a manager for H&M. Her role encompasses the general development and success of our practice, with particular responsibility for supervision of our client accounts, banking and human resources.

Sarah Mckenzie-Boyle
Legal Secretary

Sarah joined the firm in 2022 with 4 years’ prior experience in the legal sector.

 

Sarah works in the firm’s conveyancing department and she is currently studying for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers Level 4 Licensed Conveyancer Diploma.

Eva Byrom
Bookkeeper

Eva is the firm’s legal cashier and bookkeeper, responsible for the administration of our client ledgers and credit control, with over 20 years’ experience in bookkeeping, both in industry and the legal sector.

Bryony Bolwell BA (Hons)
Legal Secretary

Bryony has worked as a legal secretary and conveyancing assistant since 2017, being involved in the administration of every stage of the conveyancing process from inception to completion and beyond. She brings expertise and enthusiasm combined with calmness and efficiency.

Caroline Hobbs
Post-Completion Assistant

Caroline joined the firm in 2004 and was Matthew Waite’s secretary for many years before taking a career break to start a family. After a spell as the firm’s bookkeeper, she has rejoined the firm as a member of the secretarial team with special responsibility for post-completion matters in the firm’s conveyancing department. Caroline brings with her valuable knowledge of the firm’s clients and ethos.

Rachel Redding
Legal secretary 

Rachel is an experienced legal secretary. After assisting us on a temporary basis is 2021, we are delighted that she became a permanent member of the team at the beginning of 2022.

 

Rachel works in the firm’s Property Department, dealing with all aspects of the conveyancing process.

Della Davis
Legal secretary 

Della joined the company in 2021 and has over 20 years’ experience as a legal secretary.

 

Together with Rachel, Della provides secretarial support to the Property Department, dealing with both residential and commercial property transactions.

Lena Wagner
Legal secretary 

Lena is one of our full-time secretaries who works in our commercial property department. Lena currently assists both Matthew and Harry in all aspects of their commercial property work, particularly, in respect of Pension SIPP acquisitions.

Suzanne Gamage
Legal secretary 

Suzanne brings a wealth of experience to our firm having worked in diverse areas of law to include Property and Wills/Probate departments. Suzanne currently assists Kathryn in our Family/Wills and Probate department.
